Rules for Quiz Whiz War (Tie-Breaker):
- Team Formation: Each participating team should consist of a maximum of five members consisting at least two girls. Designate one member as the team captain.
- Quiz Format: The quiz competition will be conducted in a Single-choice question (SCQ) format.
- Question Numbers: The first question will always be question number 1. After answering question 1, teams can choose any other question number between 2 and 50 for the next question.
- Question Selection: Teams should notify the quizmaster of their selected question number before answering. Failure to do so may result in disqualification for that question.
- No Noise Policy: Maintaining silence during the quiz is crucial. Any unnecessary noise, discussion, or interference during the quiz will not be tolerated.
- Answer Submission: Only the designated team captain is allowed to submit answers on behalf of the team. Other team members should refrain from providing answers during the competition.
- Answer Confirmation: Once the team captain provides an answer, it is considered final. There will be no changes or adjustments allowed after confirmation.
- Scoring: Points will be awarded based on correct answers. Incorrect answers will result in a deduction of points.
- Timed Questions: Some questions may have time limits for answering. Teams should pay attention to the quizmaster’s instructions regarding time constraints.
- Appeals: If a team believes that their answer was wrongly marked as incorrect, they may appeal to the quizmaster. The quizmaster’s decision on appeals is final.
- Recording Scores: The quizmaster will keep a record of the questions answered correctly by each team. Teams are encouraged to maintain their own records as well to ensure transparency.
- Fair Play: Participants should maintain the highest level of sportsmanship and integrity throughout the competition. Cheating, plagiarism, or any other form of unfair play will result in immediate disqualification.
- Tiebreakers: In the event of a tie, tiebreaker questions may be used to determine the winner. The quizmaster will decide on the format of tiebreaker questions.
- Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the winning team(s) based on their overall performance.
- Disqualification: The quizmaster reserves the right to disqualify any team or participant who violates the rules or engages in disruptive behavior.
No Pass Questions Are Allowed.
